OTTAWA: The Constituency Office of Gurbax Malhi, Member of Parliament for Bramalea Gore Malton, officially opened for business at 2565 Steels Ave. East Unit 4 in Brampton on Dec.12, 1993. Present al the occasion were the Honorable Allan Rock, Minister of Justice and Attomey General of Canada and Member of Parliament for Etobicoke Center Steven Offer, the M.P.P. for Mississauga North; Peter Robertson, Mayorof Brampton; Valerie Orr, Councilor for Ward 7 in Brampton: and over 600 constituents. Mr.Maihi stated that his victory “was ‘made possible Only by the Support of the people of the constituency” and went on to emphasize that he was “elected to represent all the people of Bramalea Gore Malton,” Speaking on the occasion Hon, Allan Rock, commented, “It seems to me that Gurbax Malhi Very Clearly demonstrates the kind of Public service attitude that we have to bring to public life. * Mr Steven Offer said, “There was an underlying, an unstated commitment during the election campaign and that was the high priority that Gurbax Was Zoning to give 10 all Of the Community, that he WAS going to be there, accessible and accountable, Ready to meet the issues in the community and deal with the people of the com= munity in the best Way possible.”
