NEW DELHI: Indian intelligence agencies are increasingly coming out with alarming reports about the growth of militancy in Kashmir and Punjab and about the intentions and preparations of the Pakistan army A few days ago the Indian intelligence quoted certain Kashmir militants held by it to state that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence had prepared a new action plan to be put into operation in March next in Kashmir.
According to this version of Pakistan’s level of preparations, half a million men are being given training in Muzaffarabad in other side of Kashmir to be sent across into the Kashmir valley indifferent formations This action plan has been named “Operation Professor”, according to the Indian intelligence agencies.
Meanwhile, section of Indian media reported that the latest Chinese tanks had been included in the current army exercises by Pak troops in. various areas across the border. It is conceded that the exercises are a routine affair, it is at the same time claimed that experiments with all kinds of sophisticated armaments had been made to strengthen the Pak army’s striking power.
