KATHMANDU: The treaties on trade and transit and on controlling unauthorized trade between India and Nepal ‘are likely to be signed sometime in October.
An indication to this effect was available after a marathon meeting between the top officials of India and Nepal here Tuesday.
Montek Singh Ahluwalia secretary in the ministry of commerce held day-long deliberations with his Nepalese counterpart before leaving for New Delhi Tuesday evening in which P.K.Lahiri revenue secretary of India also participated.
