CHANDIGARH Aug 8 (PTI) — The National Kidney Foundation of the USA has awarded its international nephrologist medal to Dr K.S. Chugh chairman of the nephrology Depart.
The foundation has said in its citation that the highest honour has been bestowed upon a non-American nephrologist for his distinguished services to the renal community. Dr Chugh is the first Asian nephrologist.
The award which carries a gold medal and a citation will be presented to Dr chug at the annual banquet of the foundation in new york on November 16.
