I do not know if the hot summers of Punjab or some other nefarious designs are the reason behind the visit of some alleged Sikh leaders from Punjab to the western countries lately. To the best of my knowledge the latest is Atinderpal Singh ex MP from Patiala. I am afraid that Atinderpal Singh will form a nexus with the likes of Prof Darshan Singh (Ragi) Col. Partap Singh and Prof. Manjit Singh (SGPC appointed Jathedar of Anandpur Sahib) who are already present in North America to suck the sap out of our brave struggle for Khalistan.
I believe another major reason behind the visits of these individuals is nothing more than monetary gain safe haven and last but not least to make their masters happy in Delhi. All these individuals claims themselves to be the proponents of Sikh aspirations but believe me their actions speak otherwise. Without question all of them have played a major role some way or the other and have attempted to derail the struggle for Khalistan in India.
I am afraid if these individuals are not restrained they will try to do the same over here. The anti Khalistani role of Prof. Darshan Singh Atinderpal Singh is particularly abominable. To my knowledge Atinderpal Singh is one of the most important ex militant leaders who have joined the cadre of Indian govt’s anti Khalistani forces.
Atinderpal Singh was a self-appointed General of Khalistan Liberation Organization and he claimed himself to be responsible for the assassination of Indira Gandhi and General Vaidya.
He was also alleged to be responsible for other armed actions. He was arrested by the Punjab Police in late 1988 after being underground for nearly four years. Due to the information provided by him to the police after his arrest about 80 hideouts (homes of Sikhs sympathetic to Khalistan) of Sikh militants were exposed to the wrath of the Indian police. He is the sole militant to appear on the national T.V. after a few days of his arrest to condemn Govt. of Pakistan and Sikh struggle for Khalistan
In 1989 against the wishes of the Panthic Committee he participated in the elections and exploited the gullible Sikh masses to vote for him and save him from the noose. Due to being in jail after winning the elections he literally begged the Indian Govt for a chance to pledge his allegiance to the Indian constitution After Atinderpal convinced his masters (Delhi Govt) of his loyalty he was released from the prison and all the charges against him were dropped.
By compromising his principles and for what Sikh militants stand for Atinderpal Singh has done irreparable damage to the Sikh struggle. Just few days ago to uphold these very principles 60 Sikhs embraced martyrdom on a single day. Frankly the likes of Atinderpal Singh are an unwanted burden on mother earth
I beg all God fearing Sikhs to boycott if not confront Atinderpal Singh in every way. We have to check and expose the reasons behind the visits of the likes of Atinderpal etc. So that in the future no Indian Govt stooge can come over here and try to confuse us.
