ISLAMABAD: Sacked premier of Pakistan occupied Kashmir Mumtaz Hussein Rahore has alleged that his dismissal was part of a U.S. conspiracy to set up an independent Kashmir state to change the geographical balance in the region.
“Kashmir is the Jugular vien of Pakistan and they have given it the first blow because under the new world order the United States wants to promote the slogan of an independent Kashmir” he told newsmen here.
Rathore claimed that he was repeatedly suggested by the U.S. Ambassador here Robert B. Oakley about an independent Kashmir state. He said during the last meeting U S Congressmen Stephen Solarz was also present:
The Pok leader said in a letter addressed to him Oakley had ire+ iterated the idea “trying to convince me for supporting the idea of an independent Kashmir”.
He said the Kashmir crisis was a product of American designs and the Nawaz Sharif govt had become a “tool” in its hands
Rathore said if Kashmir was” separated from Pakistan this country would become a “desert and Pakistan’s integrity would be under great peril.
