NEW DELHI: The police announced the arrest of an employee of Trade Fair Authority of India naming him as one of the brains behind last month’s shooting incident at an election meeting of the Congress-I leader Jagdish Tytler
According to the police Gulshan Singh was a member of the Babbar Khalsa militant group of Punjab who joined three other accomplices Joginder Singh Dalip Singh and Inderjit Singh in a conspiracy to liquid age i Sikh massacre
Police said Gulshan Singh and his accomplices had on an earlier Occasion on May 15 abandoned their plan to kill Tytler Congress (I) candidate from Delhi Sadar Lok Sabha seat who was to address a rally at Subzi Mandi in old Delhi in view of the tight security and absence of a convenient escape route.
