AMRITSAR: An abortive attempt was made on the life of the secretary-general of the AISSF Sarbjit Singh Sohal who is contesting the Majitha Vidhan Sabha constituency.
The police said an unspecified number of men’s fired at the motorcade in which he and his supporters were travelling near Borewal village. Two supporters of Sohal were injured. One of them has been identified as Sardeep Singh.
