NEW DELHI:A noted criminal lawyer Gurcharan Singh was shot dead Thursday night by unidentified persons at his residence here police said.
Singh returning from the day’s work was entering his house at Model Town in north-west Delhi at night when the assailants who apparently lay in wait near the gate opened fire at him.
A critically injured Singh was rushed to a private nursing home where he was pronounced dead police said
Singh 71 and is survived by his wife a practicing lawyer a son and three daughters.
