NEW DELHI: Campaigning ended at the stroke of five Tuesday in 114 Indian parliamentary seats and 139 assembly constituencies in the southern state of Kerala which go to polls in the second phase of elections on May 23.

Over 1800 candidates are in the fray in 13 states and two centrally administered territories where more than 106.6 million voters will cast their ballots to elect representatives to parliament on Thursday.

The election for the Barh parliamentary constituency of Bihar was countermanded following the death of an independent.
