MADRAS: Congress (I) president Rajiv Gandhi Saturday denied he was grooming his son Rahul to enter politics.
“He was on a holiday and I asked him to accompany (me) since it was a short trip” Gandhi told newsmen here in an obvious reference to his visit to Bihar this week
While denying that he and his son were attacked by a mob at Saharsa on Thursday Gandhi however confirmed that some vehicles carrying pressmen at the tail-end of the convoy were attacked.
He was not aware of the incident till he reached New Delhi he said.
