CHANDIGARH: Indian Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar March 31 described as irresponsible the statement of U S Ambassador to Pakistan that Kashmir was an international issue.
The Prime Minister told reporters he would go by the stand taken by the U.S. state department that Kashmir was an issue between India and Pakistan and ithas to be negotiated under the Simla agreement.
