EL SOBRANTE: Three men were arrested March 3 at the Sikh Center after a heated dispute between rival factions that disrupted religious services.

Eight deputies were called to the religious center at 3550 Hillcrest Road about 2 p.m. and found a boisterous group in the building’s foyer said Sgt.Scott Daly. It took about two hours for the crowd of about 150 who attended services to vent their anger and disperse said Daly.
Amnk Singh Malhi 27 of Alameda and Gurmeet Singh 40 of Union City were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon Kamaljit Singh 42 of Richmond was booked for misdemeanor battery.
