BEIJING: Garb yang a town in Pithoragarh district on the Uttar Pradesh-Tibet border will be the first transit point for Sino-Indian border trade to be resumed soon for the first time since 1962 Indian commerce minister Subramanian Swamy announced Wednesday.
The point is in the Taklakot region Swamy told reporters at the end of Wednesday’s meeting of the joint group on economic relations trade science and technology here.
The Chinese delegation at the talks was led by minister of foreign economic relations and trade Li Langing.
