LONDON: S. P. Hinduja, a prominent non-resident Indian businessman, has said plans are underway by the Chandra Shekhar government for foreign investors.

In a statement issued here Tuesday on the eve of the Indian engineering trade fair in New Delhi with large participation by British firms, Hinduja said India, under the new prime minister, Mr Chandra Shekhar, is making considerable advance in shaking off the old anti-foreign phobias and socialist political practices that have handicapped the country so badly in the past.

These prejudices and Practices have also made India   exceptionally difficult PARTNER FOR Foreigners to do business with he said.
