GHAZIABAD: Group clashes erupted again Monday night in the curfew-bound areas of Ghaziabad injuring at least six persons police said.
The rampaging crowds used homemade bombs acid bottles fire arms and other weapons at Kaila Bhatta ldgah Goshala Phatak and nearby localities of the old city S.N.Singh senior superintendent of police said.
Singh said eleven armed rioters indulging in arson were arrested Monday night. With these arrests the number of detentions has gone up to 250 he added.
A powerful explosion rocked the Dasna gate area Monday night. However there were no casualties.
Several shops were burnt in Vivekanand Nagar Chowdhary Bhawan and Wright Ganj colonies police said.
