CHANDIGARH: The Babbar Khalsa International on Friday announced the setting up of Babbar Khalsa army.
Ina statement released by Babbar Khalsa International press secretary Mr Kulwant Singh Babbar Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar chief of the militant organisations said the new organisation would seek guidance and instructions from its parent body and work for the achievement of Khalistan.
In case of war of any national and international crisis the Babbar Khalsa army would act according to the directions of Babbar Khalsa International.
In a separate statement issued by its Patiala district Jathedar Bhai Amrik Singh Babbar the Babbar Khalsa International claimed responsibility for eliminating All India Sikh Students Federation activities Joginder Singh Popi and Saranjit Singh and some other persons near Raiputa in Patiala district. The Babbar Khalsa charged Joginder Singh with indulging in extortion in the name of the militants.
The statement said any person seeking clarification about these killings would also meet their fate as the action had been taken after due consideration.
