NAGPUR: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Sunday warned the government that it would launch an agitation to remove the government (Sarkar Hatao) after February 6 if the alleged dilly dallying on the Temple-Mosque dispute in Ayodhya continued.
Addressing a press conference here its secretary General Ashok Singhal said religious leaders who met at Prayag on January 15 had issued a directive to the VHP to overthrow any government which prevented them from building a Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
He said the central governing council and board of trustees of the VHP had already finalized the programme of work in their meetings at Udaipur Rajasthan on January 25 and 27 with a view to spreading Hindu awareness and unity for the need to build the Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
Thereafter an agitation for handing over the Shri Knshna Janmas than at Mathura and Shri Viswanath Temple at Varanasi would start he said.
