NEW DELHI: India said on Jan 15 it would check with Iraq reports quoting the ambassador that 200,000Indians were going to fight for Baghdad.

Asked about the reported statement of the Iraqi ambassador here that nearly 200,000 Indians were willing to go and fight for Iraq the external affairs ministry spokesman said there was a set policy on Indians going abroad for jobs The protector of emigrants looked into the matter he added.
