NEW DELHI: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Jan 9 alleged the Indian government was siding with the Muslims on the Ayodhya temple-mosque dispute.
The charge was made in yet another letter to the Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar by the VHP working president Vishnu Hari Dalmia on the eve of the scheduled talks on the issue here.
VHP spokesman R S Agnihotri said the third round of talks on Thursday would be the final round whether the talks lead to an amicable settlement or not.
Senior VHP leaders held consultations Wednesday to formulate their strategy at the talks and to finalise the name of the members of the delegation to represent the VHP.
The issues which had so far been raised through the documents submitted by both the VHP and All India Babri Masjid Action Committee (AIBMAC) during two rounds of talks held on Dec 1 and 4 and the rejoinders to the documents would feature prominently.
Both parties have made it clear that they will hold the talks dismissing some press reports that suggested they would stay away
While the VHP will be presented among others by Acharya Girija Kishore Surya Krishna S C Dixit and three experts on history and archaeology the AIBMAC delegation would include Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi Javed Habib Zafaryab Jilani and M a Siddiqui.
The government will be represented by the minister of state for home affairs Subodh Kant Sahay and the chief ministers of U.P. Maharashtra and Rajasthan
After the two rounds of talks in first week of December both parties submitted documents in support of their claims on Dec 23 and rejoinders to the documents were submitted on January 6. The rejoinders were exchanged between the parties Jan 8 one day in advance.
