CUTTACK: Managers of the Sri Lankan and Indian teams termed the pitch at Barabati Stadium unfit for any international match.
Speaking to newsmen immediately after the match a beaming Si Lankan manager Md Yusuf said, the credit should go to all of them for notching up such a memorable win. With this win we could level the score in our last four meetings.
Referring to the wicket which the cricketing pundits here had expected to “crack” soon, the Lankan manager said it was no better. Though the ground was good, the pitch was not at all suitable for such an important event, be remarked:
