The Congress Govt headed P.V Narasimha Rao and Kalyan Singh govt have weakened the power base of the former Prime Minister, V.P. Singh, in the state. Meanwhile, the VHP volunteers started with the demolition of structures of four buildings acquired recently near the disputed place of worship.
Local BJP MP and convener of static Bajrang Dal, Vinay Kativar, said the VHP has decided to remove the old structures from the four buildings including the Sankat mochan temple.
He said all these work were part of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple construction works.
Bhave told newsmen that the trust for construction of the temple had renewed its request to the State govt to transfer the notified land to them so that temple construction could be started soon.
