AMBALA: Shayan Singh Narwal, general secretary of the unrecognized Haryana Police Karamchari Sangathan, was detained under the National Security Act by the Haryana government, according to reliable sources.
Mr. Narwal was arrested on Sept.29 last in the wake of agitation launched by the sangathar against the arrest of their president Mr. Dilavar Singh, and dismissal of several activists who protested against the govt’s attitude for not accepting the demands of the” sangathan.
Nawal, is presently lodged in the Central Jail here.
