NEW DELHI: India and Pakistan have agreed to continue discussions on the wullar barrage and Tulbul navigation project at a mutually -convenient date.
This was agreed to at the end of the seventh round of secretary level talks on the two issues at Islamabad on Sunday, an external affairs ministry spokesman said.
India was represented by water resources secretary M. A Chitale and the host side by his counter pant S.R Panegar.
The spokesman said the talks were held in an atmosphere of understanding and friendliness and it was agreed to continue discussions to arrive at a settlement on the issue in conformity with the Indus water treaty of 1960.
