Shere Punjab sports club was established four years ago with a sole purpose to promote sports and athletics among Sikh community in California. The club has been able to sponsor three successful world cup Kabaddi tournaments in USA. The last one being held in Fresno this year. Also their financial support for World Sikh News is appreciated.
Speaking on the occasion of World Sikh News fundraiser Mr. Tejinder Singh Dosanjh from Shere Punjab sports club exhorted Sikh community to spend financial resources on promoting Sikh faith and Punjabi language rather than building palatial gurdwaras.
