CALCUTTA (PTI): Calcutta High Court on Noy.12 directed state nun television Doordarshan and All India Radio (ATR) to start covering the five nation cricket tournament from the next match onwards.
The bench also directed the government of India that the equipment of the London based Trans
World International (TWY) should not be detained, the court asked Doordarshan to telecast live and the air to begin running commentaries from the next match itself.
The bench asked Cricket As so” citation of Bengal (CAB) to Rs 500,000 per match to Doordarshan, as agreed upon by the parties.
