Members of the Immigration and Refugee appeal board have been warned by the Board Chairman not to discuss details of individuals cases with hearing officers outside the formal proceedings. This policy reminder is issued by Nurjeran Mawani after publication of reports that conversations between board members and hearing officers about individual cases goes without the knowledge of the refugee claimants.
