TORONTO: Ankhila Punjab TV has sued Vision TV for breach of contract and discrimination arising out of the abrupt cancellation of the Ankhila Punjab Weekly, half-hour show on Saturdays. An injunction will be sought on November 1, 1996 at Osgood Hall seeking reinstatement of the show. Ankhila Punjab is the only comprehensive religious and educational television show serving the needs of Canada’s 350,000 Sikhs. Prominent Toronto Lawyer, Jerry Levitan has been appointed to represent Ankhila Punjab. Levitan can be reached for further comment at 3684454.
