KANPUR: The Uttar Pradesh Government has agreed to give monthly pension to every widow of 1984 riots and those married or engaged in regular service at the rate of Rs 1,500 per month, the general secretary of the November 1984 Riot Victims Association, Mr. Ajit Singh Ahluwalia said today. He said a delegation of the association, which recently met the Special Secretary (Home), was also informed that computation and evaluation of the loss of property had been completed and clarification from the high. Court was awaited.
