SRINAGAR: Former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao’s Congress party ~ four parliament seats in the vlibled northern Jammu and Kashmir State in the final phase of India’s general election, officials said. ‘Election officials said Congress won one scat each in the Hindu dominated Jammu region and Buddhist dominated Ladakh region, In the mostly Muslim Kashmir valley, the party won both the Srinagar and Baramulla seats, they added.
