NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Deve Gowda last week won a vote of confidence in Lok Sabha after a two-day debate. The opposition B.J.P. opposed to confidence motion whiles the Congress supported.it. The development has ended the political uncertainty that had been plaguing the Indian government for more than two months. Gowda heads a coalition government.
