AMRITSAR: Gurcharan Singh Tohra, president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, while addressing a gathering at the Akal Takht there, on Oct.20, said that anyone who dares to attack the Akal Takht, in future would meet the same fate as the former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi and General A.S. Vaidya,
Tohra said that Sukhdev Singh Sukha and Harjinder Singh Jinda were Sikh martyrs who deserve Panthic recognition, Tohra said that the government had not interceded in the religious affairs of the Sikhs by preventing their entry into the Golden Temple; the series Akhand paths would not have been stated.
