CALCUTTA (PTI): The condition of the Sitar Maestro, Pandit Ravi Shankar, undergoing treatment in the United States, was better on Aug.28, according to 4 messages received by his secretary R.Paul, Shankar underwent an angioplasty operation at the Uni versity of Califomia Medical Center on Thursday.
Paul said that doctors attending on Pandit Rabi Shankar said he was progressing well, but would be kept under observation for another 72 hours before considering his discharge from the hospital.
