NEW DELHI: The former chairman of bank of Karad. now under liquidation, Tuesday ruled our the hand of politicians from the western state of Maharashtra in the transactions involving the bank in the multi-million securities scam. Appearing before the Joint Parliamentary Committee UPC) probing the scam, C.R. Kanade, former chairman and chief executive of the bank, was grilled by the members of the committee on the role of some politicians from Maharashtra in the scar.
