RANCHI (BIHAR): While rival tribal leaders appealed for ending the “economic blockade” in the mineral rich Jharkhand region in Eastern India, hard-liners blew up railway tracks in the state affecting supplies of minerals and forest products to the rest of the country, Railway tracks were blown up Sept.17 on the Illu- Torang section in Adra division of the south caster railway, the S.E railway sources said adding that the tracks were repaired within two hours of the receipt of information.
No one was injured in the incident and the Howrah-Hatia express was delayed by two hours, the sources added.
