AMRITSAR(PTI): An exhibition of rare paintings and other artefacts on the Golden Temple is being organized by a UK based collector and teacher of Asian arts and Religious studies, Chanan Singh Chan, at the Central Sikh Museum in Golden Temple complex from Aug,.1516.
About 150 exhibits included paintings and sketches by British artists on Golden Temple, coins of Sikh rulers and rare manuscripts,
As many as 16 microfilms of rare ‘Granthis’ (Holy scripture) are also being displayed in the exhibition.
The paintings included those of Guru Nanak Dev and the 10th Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, and Maharaja Duleep Singh.
Chan said he would also arrange such exhibitions in other cities of Punjab and Delhi.
