AMRITSAR: The Babbar Vidyarthi Jathe bandi has alleged that the police have planted “baseless” and “mischievous” stories in the Press to malign the Babbar Khalsa International supreme, Bhai Sukhdev Singh, and to “mislead” the people. The president, Iqbal Singh Khalsa and two other leaders said here recently, that after appearance of “misleading” stories in the Press based on the statement of the SSP, Patiala, about the life style and Bhai Sukhdev Singh, they had sent a three-member probe-panel to Patiala, The panel has submitted its report, according to which, | Bibi Jawahar Kaur,” whose name has been associated with Bhai Sukhdev Singh, does not live in that Kothi,” from where he was arrested. She lives with her mother in another Kothi adjoining the residence of Balwant Singh Premi.
Bhai Sukhdev Singh, the report says, upheld the high standards of human values in accordance with the Sikh traditions.
They alleged that Bhai Sukhdev Singh was killed in a fake encounter and was arrested from his house on August 7.
