RANCHI (PTI): The minister for tribal welfare in the east Indian state of Bihar, Karam Chand Bhagat, said that he would Oppose any Move by the state government against the formation of the proposed “Jharkhand” state from the Chhotanagpur and Santhal Pragana Plateau.
i am still a sympathizer of the statehood demand and shall protest against any move by my government which is detriment the cause,” Bhagat told PTI HERE.
Bhagat said he was not aware of the proposal sent by the state government to the center opposing the statehood demand.
