TORONTO: Employees of Ontario government will see a pay reduction of 7.6% if the negotiations failed on social contract. The average yearly salary of affected workers is about $40,000, so the 17 week cut would represent a loss of about $60 per week, saving a total of $60 million, The Ontario government has planned to ‘save 2 billion dollars to cut its deficit.
