LIVE OAK,CA: Hanjit Gosal, daughter of Piara Singh Gosal and Kulwant Kaur Gosal, graduated from Live Oak High School with honors. Harjit was awarded the Presidential Academic Fitness Award, the Bank of America Plaque for Applied Arts, the Yuba Sutter Farm Bureau Scholarship, and the Outstanding Senior Girl of, the Year Plague. Harjit has been tremendously involved in school and community affairs. She was. Senior Class President which helped her excel in leadership. She was also a life member and President of California Scholarship Federation and the alternate Student Representative to the School Board 03 at Live Oak. Along with that she was involved in Spanish Club, Student Council, Environment Club, and Track and Field, Her Junior Year she was nominated as a Girls’ State Delegate which is a weeklong Political Conference at Sonoma State University. Harjit will be attending Chico State University this fall and plans to Major in Political Science.
