Chandigarh ,Ludhiana : Punjab police chief K.P.S .Gill claimed here recently that panthic committee member Dr.Sohan Singh had died and that the militants were using his name only to promote their struggle. “My information is that Dr.Sohan Singh is dead,” Gill added. He gave no other details. He said that among the leading survivors were Bhai Paramjit Singh Panjwar, Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochshal, Baba Wassan Singh Jaffarwal and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar. Some of them, he said, were in Pakistan.
