KATHMANDU (PTI): Prime Minister P.V.Narasimha Rao will visit Nepal from October 19, the Nepalese prime minister, Dr. Girija Prasad Koirala announced here July 27.

Announcing this to a group of visiting Indian newsmen here during a meeting at his office, Dr.Koirala said that the three-day visit of Narasimha Rao at his invitation extended during his visit to India in December last year would further strengthen the good relations between India and Nepal.

Dr.Koirala said that Narasimha Rao would spend two days in Kathmandu before going to Biratnagar, the home town of the Koiral as in Morang district in eastern Nepal.

Rao will lay the foundation stone of the B.P.Koirala institute of health sciences and medical college at Dharan, to be built with Indian assistance.
