VANCOUVER: In a major victory for environmentalists, the B.C. government said that it will establish a huge park on the north western border with Alaska and help create the world’s largest protected wilderness area. Mr. Mike Has court said, “This is one of the most spectacular wilderness areas in the world and today, British Columbia is living up to its global responsibility to keep it that way,” He added that the one million became 2.5 million acre park one third bigger than Algonquin Protocol Park will help protect one of the last strongholds of North America’s grizzly bear.
