PATIALA More than 100 parents of nursing students of Rajindra hospital met the medical superintendent of hospital and principal of the school of nursing to seek proper security for their girls who had vacated hostels and gone home due to inadequate security.

The medical superintendent assured the parents that all necessary Steps for safety and security of girls would be taken, floodlights would be installed around the boundary wall of the hostel and damaged position of boundary wall would be repaired soon, he said.

The parents later went to meet the SSP, Suresh Arora, who was reportedly to the hostel inmates, The parents told the SSP that certain bad elements were creating a fear among the girls by trespassing the hostel premises during night hours for the past few DAYS,.
