NEW DELHI (PTI): Addressing a Press conference here, two German ministers expressed optimism that India would implement trade reforms fully and ensure political stability 10 enhance investors’ confidence in the Indian economy.

The two dignitaries were the deputy minister of economics and: technology of north Rhine Estphalia, H.Krebs and deputy minister of Baden Wurttemberg, R.Brechiken.

Both suggested that India should adopt further liberalization steps like full convertibility of rupee and reduction of import tariff to international standards to attract more and more foreign investment.

Krebs and Brechtken, attending the 10th Indian engineering trade fair here in which Germany is participating as a partner country, said “Germany now considers India as one of the dynamic trade regions in Asia pacific region with huge Potential for export oriented joint ventures.”
