The Punjab government National Motor Transport Workers’ Union has decided to observe one day strike on Feb.25 in support of its demands which include regularization of several thousand workers and selection grades for the drivers.
The general secretary of the union, Gurdip Singh, said in a Statement here, on Friday, that about 12,000 workers of the Punjab Roadways would go on strike in case the government failed to accept their demands.
