NEW DELHI (PTI): The Much awaited expansion of the one-year did Narasimha Rao ministry will take place Thursday, July 2 and about half will be inducted,
The new ministers will be sworn- in at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 1700 hrs. The expansion coincides with the completion of One-year in office of the ruling Congress-I government.
The Prime Minister who had a 40-minute Meeting with the president, R.V. Venkataraman, early today conveyed to him the decision to expand his council of minister which comes a week before the commencement of the monsoon session of parliament. The list of the new incumbents is being forward to Rashtrapati Bhavan At present the strength of the ministry including the Prime Minister is 56.
