General practitioners, internists, pediatricians, obstetricians and gynecologists are deemed in short supply in West Virginia, where 11 countries lack any prenatal or obstetric care, a governor’s task force said recently. The shortages also include Chinese and Japanese food cooks in seven states and Washington D.C.
