CHANDIGARH: Four Akali leaders Balwant Singh Tohra Harmohinder Singh Dhillon Ajmer Singh Kumbhra and Baldev Singh Kumbhra who were arrested by the Chandigarh police a few days ago were severely tortured in police custody. Dillons back med back as a result of the torture Ajmer Singh and Baldev Singh also said they had been severely torture. Tohra also repeated the charge of torture. They were asked for the whereabouts of militants. Later all the four leaders were handed over to the Ropar police for registrations of cases against them. They were sent to Patiala jail.
