NEW DELHI (PTI): About 150 workers of the Bharatiya Yuvak Kisan Mazdoor Congress (I) today demonstrated near the Pakistan High Commission here to demand handing over of JKLF leader Amanullah Khan to India.
The Protestors who began their march from Teen Muni Bhavan were not allowed by the police to reach the high commission complex but stopped some distance away.
A delegation of eight workers led by the organization president Mr Tejram Verma presented a memorandum to the high commission demanding “strict action” by Pakistan to prevent tomorrows proposed march by IKLF activists to cross the line of control into India.
The memorandum alleged Pakistan’s active role “in aiding and abetting terrorism in India” and demanded an immediate halt to it.
